Week 12 Split week

This week was supposed to be an off week but the group did a ride without me as I had other plans. I did my own ride this weekend with my mom on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Miles: 43 Elevation: 978
Weather: Overcast. Very windy. Have not biked in that much wind in a long time.

Lesson Learned: Who need's hills when you are going into heavy winds. There were times when it felt like I was pedaling on the big ring while going downhill and not moving. Took a lot of effort to punch through the wind. Fire department was out clearing some of the branches that had come down. Brutal ride. The nasal congestion didn't help.
